this bold feature wall. the room is so basic and neutral which allows the birch tree wallpaper to stand out while the glass table lamps add just the right touch of modern elegance & sparkle.


the exposed & painted brick, the teardrop print on the roman shade and i especially love the sphere pendant hung in the corner - i would love to come home to this comfortably chic bedroom everyday.

i love these delicate blown glass lumiere candleholders from cb2. i went to a design event at the san francisco store and received one as a take-away gift then proceeded to go home and purchase the rest of the set. i can't wait to get some white taper candles and finally group them on a console table (which i will need to purchase as well).

on a recent trip to new york, i attended the ny international gift fair...it was amazing. there i found these beautiful "egg branch" chandeliers - i immediately fell in love and ordered two to use in a wine tasting room i am currently designing. oooooh what beautiful shadows they will cast at night.

p.s. did i mention that i'm obsessed with ny now? i'm pretty sure i have to move there.

r.i.p. domino

sadly this evening i found out that domino magazine is no more. after pulling up their website i found that the march issue will be the last...domino was the best magazine for chic, affordable style and i am so sad that i will never receive another issue in the mail.

so sad.
