happy friday! it is officially my favorite season. the weather here in the napa valley has been ultra hot lately, but today it took a gorgeous turn into fall. the air was warm yet crisp and i'm beginning to notice leaves taking on a slight variation of fabulous autumn hues. tomorrow i'll be busy designing/installing flowers for a wedding at domain chandon, and sunday i'll be attending my beloved alameda flea market. ooooh i can't wait. this time i'll be going it alone (jason has to work *sad face*) but i'm determined to be there at 6am with my coffee and ipod in hand, in search of fabulous treasures. is it weird that i'm already considering christmas gift giving? anyway, i hope you all have a fabulous and relaxing first weekend of october! xo

I love autumn as well. This is picture perfection as far as this season is concerned, those copper hues sing to my heart.
Oh man am I there with you! Fall is my alllll time fav, and today I couldn't have been happier to wake up to such fall like weather! And yes, I am already considering christmas gifts! Post some ideas like you did last year, I love love lovedd the handmade goods you made, such a brilliante idea for family that you don't need to neccessarily buy something for!
Wow what a pretty picture! Are those grape leaves? I had no idea that they turned color in the changing seasons, but I guess it makes sense!
lucy: YES! all the leaves in the vineyards turn gorgeous fall colors and eventually fall from the vines during fall/winter. it is SO lovely :)
